There is currently a JewishGen Yizkor Book Project in process to translate this book. As no true table of contents was in existence, the Project started section by section translating individual article titles and author names. For many articles the introductory / summary paragraph is also being translated to give the reader a feel for the context of the article.
In addition to various sections detailing life before the Shoah and Yedinitz's history, the Book includes a Yizkor section that memorializes many of those individuals that died during the War or in the years following whether in Israel or abroad. This Necrology is also planned to be translated and posted within the Yizkor Book and Necrology databases of JewishGen.
Currently a detailed Table of Contents has been posted to the site for the Introductory, First, Second, Third and Fifth sections. Translations for the TOC for the Fourth section have been completed and submitted to JewishGen to be posted on-line.
It is hoped that as article titles and author names are translated that interested individuals will sponsor additional or specific translations of entire articles or Yizkor section memorials that can then be donated to Yizkor Book Project for posting to the site. If any individuals are out there that own the Book and have had articles translated we encourage you to donate the translations accordingly so others interested in Yedintsy can benefit by your good fortune.

Mayn Shtetl Yedinets (published in Buenos Aries)
A second book titled in English "My Shtetl Yedinets" was written in 1943 by Golde Gutman Krimer. The Book was published out of Buenos Aries and is written completely in Yiddish. The original title in Yiddish is "Mayn shtetl Yedinets: shteyger roman". The Book was actually published in two volumes and held a third title in Portuguese "Pueblo de Iedinetz". Because the book is written in essay form it is formally classified as Fiction. It was thought that perhaps because the book was published before the end of the World War II, that the timing was the sole issue that it had not been previously considered a "memorial" book.
Copies of the book's first volume can be obtained through the National Yiddish Book Center's Steven Speilberg Digital Library where a re-print of the volume can be requested for a fee. A copy has been purchased and copies of Chapter Titles viewable via the link provided.
